I woke up this morning to news that the new Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle Trailer had dropped. Being a fan of the first one, I thought I would give it a look. All I can really say is it looks like all the other low effort ‘reboots’ we have been receiving lately.

In the brand new adventure Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, the tables are turned as four teenagers in detention are sucked into the world of Jumanji. When they discover an old video game console with a game they’ve never heard of, they are immediately thrust into the game’s jungle setting, into the bodies of their avatars, played by Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, and Karen Gillan. What they discover is that you don’t just play Jumanji –Jumanji plays you. They’ll have to go on the most dangerous adventure of their lives, or they’ll be stuck in the game forever… (Source)
Overall there ain’t much here to talk about. I for one ain’t overly impressed by what I was shown, but I’m sure there are fans out there who will dig it. After seeing the trailer the only thing I can really say if rip Hollywood.
Woah woah woah. I dug the trailer. Looks like typical fare, but that’s all good. With the Rock, Chris Hart, and Jack Black you aren’t going to be rocking the boat. You should have known that, day one. But it looks like a silly adventure. Perhaps the Rock’s toughest role yet, as he has to act like another person, rather than just himself
