The newest addition to the PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds arsenal is the Mini-14. In the little googling I did on the Mini-14, it appears to be a solid rifle, but is fairly inaccurate at distance. The Mini-14 uses 5.56mm ammo, which may be an attempt by Bluehole to increase the variety in players arsenals, as the current meta largely favors guns which use 7.62mm ammo. Not much else was revealed regarding the Mini-14, but news of a new, non crate gun is welcome. Variety is the spice of life!
Look out for the new PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds update sometime next week. What all is in this update has yet to be revealed, but we know there will at least be the Mini-14, foggy weather conditions, and first-person leaderboards. Like previous updates to PUBG, this update will rollout to test servers first and then make its way into the general populace a few days later.
