After you complete the first mission in Nioh 2 you will unlock a story mission and a sub mission. Ignore the story mission for now and instead focus on the sub mission. Where Are The Forest Veiled in Darkness Kodama?

Kodama 1: On Ledge Among Glowing Mushrooms
To find the first Kodama in the Forest Veiled level leave the starting Shrine and head right so you reach the bridge in the center of the level. Cross the bridge and take a right. You will see a number of glowing mushroom. Among the glowing mushroom at the base of the tree on the ledge is the Kodama.
Kodama 2: By Chest Outside House
The second Kodama can be found next to a chest outside of a house along the cliffside. To reach this house simply walk off the bridge and head straight so you are standing by the cliffside. Walk to the right and follow the path all the way until you reach the house.
That’s all the Kodama in this sub-mission. Given the short nature of this mission there are only 2 Kodama to collect. Once you’ve collected them all simply finish off the mission or warp out using the Divine Branch Fragment.
