Ori and the Will of the Wisps: Into the Darkness Guide
In the Wellspring Glades you can give Gorlek Ore to Grom to do various projects that will improve the area. These projects range from building houses to clearing spikes. Many of these projects are tied to various side quests in the game. Clearing the spikes (Thorny Situation) gives you access to a side quest called Into the Darkness. Complete this side quest using our Into the Darkness guide below.

Where to Start Into the Darkness Side Quest?
To start the Into the Darkness side quest you must first complete the Thorny Situation project from Grom. This project costs 5x Gorlek Ore (found in the world or by completing side quests). Once the Thorny Situation project is completed you will gain acces to a lower section of the glade. This lower section contains a Moki that triggers the Into the Darkness side quest. Check the map above for the exact location.
How to Complete the Into the Darkness Side Quest?
To complete the Into the Darkness side quest you need to complete another project at Grom. The project you need to compelte is called Clear the Cave Entrance. This project clears the old cave entrance of its debris, allowing you to enter inside it. The cost of this project is 6x Gorlek Ore. Once completed enter the cave and use the Flash ability to explore it. At the end of the cave you will reach a Heart-Shaped Acorn. Grab it and return it to the Moki quest-giver to receive a Large Spirit Light Container.
