PUBG Xbox One Version Hits 4 Million Players

The PUBG Corporation have announced that their Battle Royale game, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has reached 4 million players on Xbox One.

News of this milestone comes on the heels of last month’s announcement of 3 million players. This means in the time since hitting 3 million, PUBG has managed to add 1 million users in only a few weeks.

In celebration of having so many player on Xbox One, the PUBG Corp. have announced that players will be receiving a gift of Battle Points. These point can be used to purchase cosmetic loot boxes featuring some pretty rare items.

The announcement was made via an Xbox Wire Post, stating:

To show the community our appreciation for your support and feedback, we are rewarding players with 30,000 Battle Points to purchase cosmetic crates in the game. Anyone who has purchased or purchases PUBG on Xbox One and has created a character before January 31 at 12AM PST will receive this bonus, so if you’ve been waiting to jump onto the island, now is the perfect time to become a part of our growing community on console.  Bonus Battle Points will be delivered and appear directly in players BP accounts (right below their gamertag) after February 1, 2018 at 12AM PT.

The runaway success of PUBG was the it story of 2017. The game has been played by millions of players on both PC and Xbox One, and does not appear to be slowing down. Bluehole and the PUBG Corp. have promised to continue support of the game, which in the past has included updates with mantling, a new map, and new weapons.
