Royal Detective Guide – Vigil: The Longest Night
In the Supply Warehouse in Maye Town you will meet a mysterious NPC named Thurber W. Sungi. Thurber is working for the emperor to determine why the strange disappearances have been happening. To aid in his investigation Leila offers to help him (sort of). To complete the investigation for Thurber use our Royal Detective guide below.
Get the Strange Note for Thurber
Once you start investigation for Thurber you will need to advance the main story before anything can happen. The point of the story you need to reach is having defeated defeated the Brood Mother in the Secret Trail area. After this boss is defeated you will learn that Bruna is gone.
Once you have this information make your way to the Village. Outside of of Gram’s Home there is an illiterate named Mahrez. Speak to him to receive a not full of strange information. Take this note and head to the Supply Warehouse. Show the note to Thurber to get the next quest step to find where Bruna frequented.
Get the Blank School Letter for Thurber
To learn about a place where Bruna frequented we need to return to the Village. Here we want to enter Bruna’s Home. Inside the home head up stairs into Bruna’s bedroom. Here use double jump to reach a hidden attic area on the top left side of the room. In this area you will find a blank school letter. Grab it and return to Thurber. Show him the letter and repeatedly speak to him until he solves it.
Once Thurber has solved the mystery of the blank letter he will head back to the capital city. Before leaving he will give you his Weapon – Slingshot. You will also unlock the achievement called Detective Leila. This ends the Thurber W. Sungi quest.
