Sekiro Shadows Die Twice Shinobi Prosthetic Tool Upgrades Locations
At the start of Sekiro Wolf loses a fight which sees him lose his arm. Once Wolf returns to consciousness he awakens to find a new Shinobi Prosthetic has been attached. The Shinobi Prosthetic can be upgraded to give Wolf more tools in battle. This guide will show you all Shinobi Prosthetic tool upgrades locations.
Shinobi Prosthetic
You receive this item when you wake up in the Dilapidated Temple. This item cannot be missed. Once you have the Shinobi Prosthetic, you can begin to add tools and upgrades to it (after you’ve found them in the world). The upgrades are as follows:
Where to find the Shuriken Wheel
This is the first upgrade you will find for the Shinobi Prosthetic. You will find this upgrade just after the Outskirts Wall – Gate Path Sculptor’s Idol. In the building right after the idol you will see a broken window you can hookshot to. Do this and then walk left to find the Shuriken Wheel next to a body inside. This item allows you to make the Loaded Shuriken.
Where to find Robert’s Firecrackers
This Prosthetic Tool can be purchased from the Crow’s Bed Memorial Mob in the Outskirts area. The cost of the tool is 500 sen.
Where to find the Mist Raven
Collect the Young Lord’s Bell Charm so you can access the Hirata Estate. Make your way through the estate until you reach the Bamboo Thicket Clope idol. Go past the idol along the pathway until you reach a bridge with a giant on it. Turn right and jump off the bridge. Grapple to the tree here then jump to the ledge along the right side of the river. Travel along the ledge until your reach a cave blocked by bamboo. Cut the bamboo and go into the cave. Jump from wall to wall to go up. At the top area there is a three story building. inside is the feather.
Where to find the Flame Barrel
At the Hirata Estate, make your way to the Estate Path Sculptor’s Idol. At the end of the estate path there is a locked gate. Turn right and go through the area with all the enemies until you reach a few sitting around a fire. They will talk about the Flame Barrel. Take them out then interact with the fire their are standing around.
Where to find the Shinobi Axe of the Monkey
Collect the Young Lord’s Bell Charm so you can access the Hirata Estate. Once at the Hirata Estate, make your way to the Estate Path Sculptor’s Idol. At the end of the estate path there is a locked gate. Turn right and go through the enemies until you reach the other side of the gate. Just before the gate there is an area to the left with multiple enemies. Go in this area to access the Temple. Inside the temple is the Shinobi Axe of the Monkey. This items allows you to make the Loaded Axe.
Where to get the Mechanical Barrel?
The Mechanical Barrel is an upgrade for the Shinobi Prosthetic which is acquired after beating Gyoubu Masataka Oniwa. Take the Mechanical Barrel to the Sculptor to gain the ability to upgrade Shinobi Prosthetic abilities.
Where to Find Gyoubu’s Broken Horn?
Make your way to the Ashina Castle Sculptor’s Idol. By the idol is a bridge with an old woman on it. Directly across from this woman is a tree you can hookshot to. Hookshot across the gap and walk through the doors in front of you. Through the door is a bridge with two guards on it. Take out the guard on the right to get the Gatehouse Key.
Take the Gatehouse Key and head back to the Sculptor’s Idol. From here go inside the door and turn left at the phantoms. Go inside the room and drop down. Walkthrough the door and grab the Sculptor Idol here. Walk down the stairs and you will see the gatehouse to your left on the hillside. The gatehouse is the building you crouched under during the opening tutorial. Inside the gatehouse is the Gyoubu’s Broken Horn This upgrade makes the Loaded Spear when delivered to the Sculptor.
Where to Find the Sabumaru
You will find Sabumaru in a chest on the ground floor of Ashina Castle. You can drop down here after making your way up the rooftops and inside. There are a number of enemies standing around a doorway blocking your way. Past them is the chest with Sabumaru inside.
Where to get the Iron Fortress
This Prosthetic Tool is sold by the merchant Blackhat Badger in the Ashina Castle for 1600 sen.
Where to Find the Large Fan
Inside the Gun Fort there is a Sculptor’s Idol called Gun Fort. After this idol there is a brief mini boss fight. Once you’ve killed the mini boss, loot the statue to get the Large Fan. Fit it on your prosthetic to make the Divine Abduction.
Where to Find the Slender Finger
The Slender Finger Prosthetic tool is located in the belly of the Guardian Ape in the Sunken Valley. Defeat the ape to get the tool. Return to the Sculptor to have him make the Finger Whistle.
