The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan Ritual Guide

After you’ve explored with Brad you will switch gears of to Fliss. Fliss is still exploring the Abandoned Ship, but things are getting stranger. Use our Ritual guide to successfully make your way through this chapter.

Notes:

• There are four collectibles in this chapter:
  • White Framed Picture #4: Keelhaul.
  • Secret #38: Chemical Leak.
  • Secret #37: Broken Wires.
  • Secret #47: Cargo Ship Manual.
• Choices made in this chapter do impact the outcome of the game.
• This guide is for the best ending where everyone survives.
• Important: The Ballroom portion of this level has a hidden timer. Make a save before this area to avoid any nasty consequences.

Rituals – Fliss

When you start the Ritual chapter you will take control of Fliss. Walk down the hallway and you will see ghost Brad appear. Continue forward until you get attacked by ghosts. This triggers a QTE – Circle, Square, Circle. The outcome of this QTE doesn’t matter much since you see a cutscene which results in you reaching the Ballroom regardless.

BACKUP SAVE NOW

After the cutscene Fliss will come to in a fancy ballroom. In this area there is a hidden timer, so make your actions count.

Collectible: White Framed Picture #3: Keelhaul

Head to the right of the stage and into the room with its door open. Inside this room on the wall is the White Framed Picture #4: Keelhaul.

After you grab this collectible walk back to the door and pull the lever to the right of it. This opens the stage. Go through the now open stage into the backstage area and exit through the door there. Fliss goes onto the balcony which helps clear her head, turning the ship back to normal. This allows us to grab a number of collectibles.

Collectible: Secret #38: Chemical Leak

In the backstage area open the box that was formerly a the casket. This unlocks the Chemical Leak secret (if you’ve been following the guide up to this point you will unlock the For a dollar he told me his secrets Achievement/Trophy).

Collectible: Secret #37: Broken Wires

Leave the backstage area and head out into the ballroom. Look to the right wall, second alcove, to find a swinging broken wire. Inspect the wire.

Collectible: Secret #47: Cargo Ship Manual

The last collectible can be found on a barrel on the opposite side of the room from the broken wire. Flip the pages of the Cargo Ship Manual to add it to your collection.

Once you’ve grabbed all the collectibles listed above, kill time so the timer runs out. Once the timer runs out Brad will fall through the ceiling on a casket. Fliss will talk to Brad. Respond APPROVING “That was quick thinking.”

After you and Brad Speak both parties will exit the ballroom and the chapter will end. The next chapter Pressure will begin.
