The End is Nigh Key Locations
Having jumped pretty much head first into Edmund McMillen and Tyler Glaiel’s The End is Nigh, I’ve discovered a few things. Probably the most baffling question I have had while playing, is where are the keys? In each world there exists a locked door. These doors require keys to open, but I never seemed to be able to find them. After 20 hours of play, I can safely say, I know where the keys are. Here are The End is Nigh key locations.
Keys Unlock These
The End is Nigh Key Locations
To find the keys, we need to head to The Machine which is the tenth world in The Past (first section of The End is Nigh). Inside The Machine, are a couple of locked doors as well as three keys to collect. Since there are four doors and five keys, we can use the spare key to open locked doors throughout the other worlds.
The Machine 6
The first key we need to grab is located in The Machine 6. Use this key to unlock the locked door in The Machine.
The Machine 12
The second and third key are pretty much on top of one another. Drop down the hole in the floor to grab key 3.
The Machine 14
Right below The Machine 12, is The Machine 14. Inside you will find key 3.
The Machine 15
Inside The Machine 15, you will see the key floating.
The Machine 18
Use one of your keys to open the next locked door in The Machine and you will get access to The Machine 18. Here you will find Key 4.
The Machine
As you near the end of The Machine, you will reach another room with a key.
Now that you have an extra key, you can head to whatever locked door you want to enter. Inside each locked door is another key, meaning you can continue to open every locked door that is ahead of you.
The End 14
Inside the locked door in The End 14 is a key.
Arid Flats 12
Inside Arid Flats 12, you will find a locked door. Inside this door you will find a key.
Overflow 14
Head to the locked room in Overflow 14. Here you will find a key!
The Hollows 12
Inside the locked door in The Hollows 12, you will find a key.
Golgotha 15
At the end of the secret room in Golgotha 15 is a key.
Wall of Sorrow 7
Inside the locked door of Wall of Sorrow 7, you will find a key.
SS Exodus 5.5
Between SS Exodus 5 – 6, there is a locked room. Inside this room you will find the key.
Retrograde 15
Enter the locked door in Retrograde 15 and you will see the key in the first room.
Blight 12
On your way to the cart in Blight 12, you will see the key.
Ruin 12
On your way to the cart in Ruin 12, you will see the key.
