The HTC VIVE IS $800 USD!!!!
HTC has finalized the details surrounding the launch of their virtual reality headset the Vive. Coming in at a whopping $800 USD (making the Oculus look cheap at $600), the headset is slated to be released in early April 2016. Countries getting the headset in April are US, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, Ireland, Sweden, Taiwan, China, Japan, Australia, New Zealand. Below are the minimum specs to run this technology. Those who buy the headset will get a bunch of goodies, first being the headset, two wireless controllers, two wall units for tracking purposes,and some type of “room scale movement sensors”. The bundle also includes two VR games, Job Simulator and Fantastic Contraption. If you are curious about recommended PC specs check below:
