The Last of Us 2: Waking Up and Overlook Collectibles Guide
The first main chapter in The Last of Us Part II is called Jackson. This chapter consist of sub-chapters that serves as the game’s tutorial. While you are learning many of the different systems in the game there are some collectibles you can grab during this mission. To help you collect them all here’s our The Last of Us Part II Waking Up and Overlook collectibles guide.
Waking Up Collectibles List (Ellie – 3 Total)

Overlook Collectibles List (Abby – 2 Total)
- Artifacts: 1.
Waking Up: Seismicayla Trading Card Location
Once you take control of Ellie for the first time you will be tasked with following Jesse around town before heading out on patrol. When you enter the street area of the town you will be standing on the porch of a blue house. Follow Jesse to the stop sign and hang a left to find a notice board with the Seismicayla Trading Card (1/2) on it.
Waking Up: Request Letter Location
Continue down the street with Jesse until you reach the tractor with the load of logs on its trailer. Instead of heading to the left into the Tipsy Bison go right towards the red ladder next to some crates. On the crate is the Volunteer Request Letter (1/1).
Waking Up: Keene Twins Trading Card Location
Head into the Tipsy Bison and trigger the cutscene with Seth there by following Jesse. After this cutscene turn to the right to find a dartboard on the wall. Beside this dartboard is the Keene Twins Trading Card (2/2).
The Overlook: Note From a Father Location
Complete the Waking Up portion of the mission to switch over to the character known as Abby. Follow the story until you reach the first snowed in house. Go through the house and go through the crawlspace. After you exit the crawlspace turn to the left and go onto the deck. Climb through the open window and grab the Note From a Father (1/1) inside.
These are all the collectibles you will find in the first level of The Last of Us Part II. Collecting these items gives the players more insight into the world and must be collected to unlock a few trophies.
