The Swords of Ditto Gameplay Footage Released
Before E3, Devolver Digital announced indie game The Swords of Ditto. The first trailer for Ditto, showed off a brief few minutes of actions and left me wanting to see more. Now, thanks to the E3 gods, we have more footage! 12 minutes of footage to be exact. Check out The Swords of Ditto gameplay footage below.
The Swords of Ditto Gameplay Footage
In the footage, we get to see a nice helping of what to expect from The Swords of Ditto. The players (game is co – op able) start the game washed up on a beach on a mysterious island. Lacking proper equipment, the Players are tasked with finding legendary fear which is conveniently located in the nearest town. In this town there is an alter which turns the Players into The Swords of Ditto when you kneel before it!
As The Swords of Ditto, the Players are able to venture further into the island and face off against various enemies. Eventually the Players run into the game’s main villain, Mormo. After being introduced to the general story, we then get a chance to see the bulk of what The Swords of Ditto seems to be all about, dungeons!
Fans of game’s like The Binding of Isaac and Enter the Gungeon may find something to dig into here. The Swords of Ditto has all the makings of what could be a fun dungeon, roguelike crawler. Also the fact the gameplay footage ends on loot has me dancing. Slated for release in 2018, The Swords of Ditto is a game I will definitely be following as it heads towards release.
