Things to Do After Beating Cyberpunk 2077
The ending of Cyberpunk 2077 is somewhat strange as it creates a point of no return save you will return to upon completion of the game. This approach means there is no new game plus to enter or endgame content to complete. This design decision may make it seem like there isn’t much to do. In a way you are right. With that said here’s some things to do after beating Cyberpunk 2077.
Unlock All Five Endings and Their Epilogues
After you’ve beaten the game for the first time you will probably ask yourself if there are more endings. Yes, there are. There are a total of five possible endings you can unlock in Cyberpunk 2077. These endings all very in impact and outcome. If you wish to see are the story that this game has to offer I suggest working your way through the different endings and epilogues available to you. Clear the Map of Activities
There’s a high chance you didn’t do every activity on your map before you played through the game’s ending. Since you reload back to a save prior to entering the Ember restaurant, you will have ample time to clear the map of all activities. If you are wondering if this is worth the time commitment that’s up to you.
A lot of the activities on the map are fairly short to complete and you will unlock Trophies/Achievements for clearing many of the areas of both activities and Night City Police Scanner Hustles. These activities are a good way of earning cash, levelling up your Street Cred and level, and getting gear in preparation for upcoming expansions.
Complete Any Side Mission Arcs You Haven’t Done Yet
The main story of Cyberpunk 2077 is fairly short and can easily cause you to tunnel into it. This tunneling may cause you to ignore some of the better writing and story beats in the game. Almost all of the major NPCs you meet in the game have some sort of story arc you are able to complete. The arcs you should complete are:
- Panam’s.
- Johnny’s.
- Kerry’s.
- Judy’s.
- Delamain’s.
Completing these side west arcs helps you unlock Trophies/Achievements, special weapons and armor, romantic relationships, and new endings. These arcs also show off CDProjektsRed’s writing and world building in the best possible ways. If you haven’t done side quest, you really should.
Collect Rare Weapons, Cars, and Clothing
If you didn’t know there are a number of rare weapons, cars, and clothing for players to find and add to their inventory and stash. This items require completing a number of different activities in the game from side missions and activities to finding them as you explore the world. Things like Johnny Silverhand’s entire wardrobe, car, and weapons; the talking gun Skippy; and the Akira inspired motorcycle should all be things you put the effort into adding to your collection.
Trophy and Achievement Hunt
If you really want to do everything in Cyberpunk 2077 you will need to tackle the game’s achievements/trophies. The achievements/trophies for this game cover a wide range of aspects of the game from levelling-up your character’s level and Street Rep, finding certain items, completing certain quests, and much more. Wait for Expansions, DLC and Multiplayer
While Cyberpunk 2077 does have a fairly definitive ending the game itself is just getting started. The developers behind Cyberpunk 2077 have a track record of adding hefty amounts of content to their stories. These singleplayer expansions and DLC additions should start dropping soon in 2021. If that content isn’t enough for you Cyberpunk 2077 is set to get multiplayer at some point as well, so there is plenty to look forward to with this title. Hi Jason. Has there been any clear info on this? Everything I’ve found is super vague with outlets saying it’s multiplayer mode while CD says they view it as a seperate thing (but not really expanding on what seperate means).
They were pretty clear it’s a whole different map, you can’t enter regular nighcity on the new multiplayer (But really we don’t know, cdpr just had a huge drop in their stocks, things might change drastically, the mp can end up taking longer, maybe being better, it’s their only chance to recover from this financially, since a witcher game would take years)
