The distant future is looking bright for all you armchair quarterbacks out there and Microsoft and the NFL will make sure of that. Microsoft released a new video showing future NFL fans(at least actors being fans) absolutely creaming over being able to pinch, pull and have players fake break their living room wall(Roger Goodell probably already has promos like this imagined). Nothing like increasing your fake involvement in a sport that you already have no involvement in. If this is Microsoft’s idea of the future, I’m looking forward to the day that implants allow for a “Twitch plays NFL” approach to sports. Would love seeing teams punting on a first down. I like sports as much as the next guy, but this seems like a weird future for spectating.
