The Weekly Reset #6 – IGN Acquires Humble Bundle, Star Wars The Last Jedi Trailer 2, and Cuphead Black and White Mode

IGN is Getting Into Game Retail
On Thursday, IGN announced that they have added bundle & general game seller, Humble Bundle to their team. While terms of the deal were not made available, members of IGN’s upper management assured fans of Humble Bundle that they are not looking to change how the company operates in any way. What this means exactly, remains to be seen, but now all your bundle purchases will pad IGN’s pocket. Read more about the acquisition here.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi Trailer #2 Drops
Fans of Star Wars got a nice treat this week with the release of a new trailer for the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Unlike the first trailer which served mainly as a teaser, the new The Last Jedi trailer features a number of plot points and Star Wars tropes to sink your teeth into. Peep the trailer here.
Cuphead Black and White Mode Unlock
Cuphead has been all the rage around the HtR office and this has led to questing for unlocks. One unlock we discovered recently was the ability to unlock a Black and White visual filter mode which makes Cuphead fell even more old timey. To learn how to unlock this mode, check out my guide here.
On The Slab – South Park: The Fractured But Whole
This week sees the drop of my most anticipated game of 2017, South Park: The Fractured But Whole. I am incredibly excited to sink my teeth into this game and will be covering it from all angles. Expect a review, guides, and videos throughout the week on what may possibly be my game of the year!
