Where to Watch Twitch Rivals, The First Apex Legends Tournament

Apex Legends has taken the gaming world by storm as of late with its frenetic BR playstyle and funky characters. With so much hype around the new Respawn Entertainment title, streaming platform Twitch and its streamers have fully embraced the newest free-to-play hotness and this attention has Apex Legends sitting comfortably atop the most viewed game’s chart. Although it is sitting comfortably as one of the most watched games on Twitch, Apex Legends should get a noticeable boost in attention from this weeks Twitch Rivals Apex Legends tournament. Where to Watch Twitch Rivals

As the name suggests, Twitch Rivals is a Twitch backed event which will feature top streams like Shroud, TSM Myth, DisguisedToast, DrDisrespect, and more. These streamers will form 16 teams of 3 which will battle it out in Apex Legends for a prize pool of $50,000 ($100,000 split between North America and Europe regions).

Twitch Rivals: Apex Legends Challenge format

The Twitch Rivals: Apex Legends Challenge will follow the following format:

  • Eight (8) teams of three (3) players per Region (EU & NA).
  • Teams will queue separately online and attempt to earn as many points as possible within a 4-hour time window.
  • Teams will earn points based on the following criteria: Wins = +5 points, Kills = +1 point.

The top team by points will receive a prize of $8,000. There is also a bonus for most kills which will net the winners $7,500.

The Twitch Rivals Apex Legends event takes place on Tuesday, Feb. 12 and will begin at 9:00am PT for the EU Region start and 1:00pm PT for the NA Region start. The event will take place for four hours after which the winners will be announced.
